Sometimes I study.

If a simple idea can be expressed in either a) a sonnet, or b) a convoluted, multiple-stanza’d, almost-a-novel-it’s-so-long poem, you can be sure that poets of the Romantic Period will almost always choose option B.

This most certainly includes YOU, Mr Coleridge.
